‘I joined the team in 2004 till 2007, then competed again in 2010 in Dublin.  I decided to get back into training last August when I took part in the couch to 5k since then I have competed in a few 5k and I have more coming up this year.  I attend the gym between 4 and 5 days a week.

I am originally from Kilkenny by moved to Glin, Co Limerick in 2015 with my husband John and my son Ewan (4).  I work fulltime in Listowel.

I am the youngest in my family, I have 2 sisters who still live in Kilkenny and a brother who lives in A@msterdam.  I would like to thank my sponsors who have helped me get to games this year: WIS, SWLO Listowel, Atlantic Oils and Anghnish.’

‘I am looking forward to getting away and meeting new friends.  (The Team) is like a second family.’

‘I would just like to thank my donor family if it was not for their generosity I would not be here today.’
